I always like hearing the end of Chicago's Get Away WWL plays as end of the hour bumper music.

If I had that I would Shazam it
I tried shazamming it while it plays live but garic talks during it and It doesn't work

Cow, I'm not sure that anyone knows; it may have just been put on the "bumper rotation" by a random producer / board-op. My 870-savvy source asked around: no go.
I wont be back in Louisiana until Mardi Gras, your search for this elusive song has my curiosity up and I'll make a point to listen when I can.
ETA: I understand the search for one song. Years-ago -- and well-before Shazam -- my lifeline to decent music was the web-stream of Austin's KGSR. During the time when they covered the local spots, a Leo Kottke-sounding instrumental was occasionally played that would just make me stop and smile every time it was played. I could not find the dang song anywhere in LK's repertoire. I got to know the KGSR Program Director when I later moved to Austin, and even *he* didn't know what it was.
You guessed it: it wasn't Kottke, turned out to be Bruce Cockburn. Enjoy.
