Brees sure did pad his stats in meaningless games this year but at the end of the day we had a good enough defense to sniff the playoffs and we didn't. Brees gets one more chance in 2017 and if we don't make the playoffs he's going to be Brett Favre on the Jets throwing 29 INT's

Ahhh, the old adage where only the bad games are the ones that matter.

So the 1, 2 3+ games before weeks 10 and 11 were meaningless?


Gotta love the idea that this guy floats out there that it was Brees's 2 bad weeks that cost us a shot at the playoffs, and the 27th ranked defense was good enough.
