Look the blind loyalty is admirable, but the facts are the facts. Jones was a barely above .500 at North Texas in the sunbelt. If LSU wasn't on his degree, he wouldn't be here now. This is year 5, any roster deficiencies at this point are squarely on the guy who's only strength is supposed to be recruiting. 5 yrs 1tournament appearance, which they blew a huge lead, and no wins. The sec is so bad right now and we can't capitalize on it because of coaching ineptitude.
Watching the game on tv yesterday, the announcers had to try and not be too negative. Even they couldn't understand what we were doing offensive and defensively.
Allowing over 95 3 out of last 4 games, you have to try and be that bad defensively.

This is unquestionable. Nor would he have been hired at any other school at this level.

As I've said 100 times, I like Johnny. Everybody likes Johnny. That's why he got the job. It certainly was not his resume, if that was the case he'd have been offered by another SEC school or Power 5 school.

This is not some knee jerk reaction we are having after one bad game. Last year was a flat-out implosion where the kids consistently lacked effort and interest.

And yesterday wasn't an isolated turd we dropped...Wichita St., Wake, 96 points to Vandy, struggling mightily to outlast Texas Southern and North Carolina whatever.

All these teams having their best shooting days of the year against us. It's not as if we have a bunch of three-toed sloths out there. We have several kids with above average athleticism and length yet the instances where we actually capitalize on that defensively are too few and far between.

I would truly like to say differently, I'd much rather us win and play with fire and intensity. But how much of this do we have to watch of this before we honestly say time ain't gonna fix this. I truly believe the majority are right on this.

that some choose to express that in not so diplomatic ways is part of forums like this, but the underlying point I'm afraid is still valid.
