While I think his Twitter activity is a bit ridiculous, it also undercuts the purpose of the media which I know really pisses them off. A lot of what they're even reporting is considered second-hand news coming from his account. He gets to control the way the message gets to people rather than someone taking his words and butchering them and taking out of context.

It's a clever strategy. He thinks outside the box. Like how he had the dump trucks filled with dirt all lined up in front of trump tower on election night to prevent gunshots from hitting the building. I thought that was pretty smart too.
