But I guess we're seeing the changing of the guard.
People coming along saying:
Holy Grail
Airplane
Caddyshack
Animal House
Blazing Saddles
The Jerk
All suck.
Maybe if you are 30 and under those movies don't reasonate or mean anything to you...and probably not seem funny considering you don't really get most of the 80's let alone the shift from the 70's to the 80's.

I am 26 and I love them all. Most of my friends love all of those too.
Blazing saddles, Animal house and Holy Grail are all timeless classics.

As a 30 year old, I resent this.
And who's saying these movies suck?
I would probably slap someone for saying Blazing Saddles sucks. The Jerk isn't a favorite of mine, but it's still a damn funny movie. Airplane! and a host of Leslie Nielsen movies are all wonderful slapstick comedies, but you do need to like that type of comedy. If you don't like Airplane!, you probably don't like Hot Shots, Naked Gun, or Top Secret!
How anyone can dislike Caddyshack, Animal House or Holy Grail is beyond me. But above all, Blazing Saddles is undeniably one of the funniest films ever made and a true testament to what a genius can do when not fettered by Hollywood chains.
