But their conference championship was better than anything tOSU had done. I'm not a fan of the "best loss" camp. Penn State achieved more than tOSU.

So earlier you were discrediting Ohio State for beating Wisconsin at Wisconsin, but Penn State beating Wisconsin at a neutral site eliminates an extra loss and overcomes Ohio States better schedule?

Losing in September is not the same as being shutout when you had a month to prepare for one team in the biggest game of the season.

That loss in September means a hell of a lot more if you're trying to get to the CFP

And yet they still didn't win their conference or division.

Bama didn't win their conference or division in 2011 and last time I checked they're considered the best team from that year.

Winning the conference absolutely makes up for the extra loss PSU had.

If you reversed tOSU and PSU, tOSU would have still gone. You can't possibly argue against that, can you?

LSU and Bama were head and shoulders over everyone else in college football that year. Regardless, that shouldn't have happened IMO. However, they aren't the ones that got shut out either.
