I couldn't care less what data there is. Two conference champs should never be left out of a 4 team playoff to allow for a team that didn't win its division. I'd have had no problem with tOSU getting in if it was an 8 team field, but that's not where we are.

Fair enough. But, until the committee requires conference champs and indicates that OOC is really only used to decide which P5 is out, these arguments will rage on. Mich would have had a damn good argument to be in if Colorado had beaten Washington. People really would have gone berserk with two non-champs from the B1G.
