I imagine they make money on international distribution for a show like that, right? Can sell it to air on TV in France, UK, etc.?
Potentially you could sell it off for domestic syndication further down the line as well.

If it causes people to get Prime memberships or keep Prime, it's worth it. Plus, they shell out all this money for a show that people can watch years from now.
