Would you consider a condo? There are multiple resorts with villages at the base that have large condos where you walk a couple mins to the lifts or even ski out. What do you consider a big resort? Was just at Steamboat and they have large houses you can ski out from. I would call it a big resort but if you pick the right time to go there are low lift lines.
It might be easier if you give everyone an example of a specific resort size wise you would like to go as that would make it easier to give recs.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. Something that can sleep 5-7 couples all in the same building rather than individual rooms like a hotel. Thinking of a cabin with 5-7 bedrooms.
That is just what would be preferred. Obviously, indivudal rooms at a resort is fine if it is cheaper. I just assume a house/cabin would be cheaper than 5-7 individual rooms.
