he didn't take over a bad program, he took over the worst program in NCAA History.
Guy does it with 2 star kids
He develops kids, and gets them to over achieve.
As a program builder, one of best ever. Top10 coach as well.

Pretty much this. You could argue based upon the programs history and the lack of instate talent, he could be the greatest coach in NCAA history.
