Need TV Antenna Recs

Live in the LSU area. Want to get a trustworthy antenna for my TV outside for watching games on the local channels. I used to just hook up my Cox box outside but with the new digital system it doesn't work anymore I guess the jack can't support it . I've hooked up my appletv but the buffering can be frustrating at times. So with that said I want to get a good antenna that I could pick up locally and have for all the games this weekend. Also I will be cutting the cord with Cox soon and going all streaming or antenna so if it could double as a good inside antenna that would be great as well. Have Amazon prime as well. Not looking to break the bank here.

check out the link in the first thread in this board. Theres some info in there. I just bought a Winegard HD7694P to put in my attic but you should be able to get by with one of the smaller window hanging ones.

Being that close in town any indoor/outdoor amplified antenna will pick up the local channels. If its covered which I am guessing it is. An indoor amplified antenna will work fine. I have a big indoor/outdoor antenna I paid $100 for at antennadeals.com . I use at my house but that is because I live in Denham Springs and need the reach it provides. I tailgate on campus and I use a cheap $20 one I got at Wal-Mart and never have had a problem picking up local channels. I am no expert that is just my experience. I am sure someone on here can give more insight on the subject. Just thought I would share.

The transmitters are all within a few miles of you if you're in the LSU area. A coathanger would probably work just fine.
