Some LSU fans are worried about this position, but Aranda has a group of guys that have been with LSU for 2-3 years but have not got enough playing time to Letter, so Aranda has a group of very well experienced LB's.

LB is one of the most exciting group. Not talking about LB's we have in the 2017 recruiting class. I am excited about those, but looking at guys who will be playing OLB/ILB, here is the list:
D. White(ILB), M. Divinity(OLB), Ray Thornton(OLB/ILB), D. Alexander(OLB), D. Voorhies(OLB), M.J. Patterson(ILB), Layton Garrett(ILB) and listed as a DE that is supposed to switch to ILB, Sci Martin. And of course at OLB Arden Key.

Watch for Layton Garrett, he could be a surprise. I am sure he has been getting into better shape. When showed up he was all of 255-260 lbs. Which is fine for a ILB at 6'3" tall, but he came in big but not in the best of shape to play ILB on a team like LSU, but I think Aranda likes him. Very smart player who if can lose 10 lbs. and change his body mass to more muscle and increase his speed just a bit, he could start next to D. White.

I am very excited specifically about Andre Anthony playing opposite sides as OLB's with Arden Key. Anthony put's on some weight and we will have 2 OLB that are both about 6'6" and 235-240 lbs. They will wreak havoc. Now I know Divinity has been moved to OLB and with him probably starting opposite Key will be a good change of pace OLB on the opposite side. Andre Anthony will probably be a rotation type guy. But with Arden Key and his size mixed with Divinity on the other side at 6'2" 235 lbs. gives Aranda a different look at the other OLB position. Before he had Bower and Key and it worked well. If for some reason Divinity doesn't do as well at the other OLB position, like I said they have Andre Anthony at 6'5" 215 lbs. He would just need to gain a good solid 20-25 lbs.

Anyway that's my thoughts.
