I just got a pair of Noconas and really like them so far. Only complaint is that I found out my right foot is not as thick too to bottom as my left so there is a minor fit issue (left pops more than right putting them on).

bought the earl by tecovas last year (roper style) ... bourbon calf color ... very satisfied with it ... very supple leather and fit is normal ... they sell direct only, so the price is a bit cheaper than what you'd pay retail ... wanted a darker boot, so i bought the shane model by lucchese, also a roper style ... chocolate color ... chose the shane over the tecovas since the shane is a touch more rounded at the toe ... leather is not as supple, but is already starting to break in a bit (i'm assuming it's probably a difference in the way the leather is treated) ... i'm not a huge boot guy, but i didn't want to buy some ankle high boot or chukka boot, so i bought a couple of pairs of roper boots ... satisfied with both ... tecovas are $225 and the shane's are $315 ...
