Yes they have. The Ottoman Empire was an incredibly diverse empire that had a create deal of race mixing. It was an incredibly dominant empire at its height. I also don't think America should aspire to be a world power or an empire tbh

And where are they now? They have devolved into something people use to rest their legs on.
