The best athletes in the world play in the NBA. This point is not up for debate. So, if you like sports, but don't F'ing love the NBA right now, you are embarrassing yourself.

Uh, yes it is. Have you ever watched NBA players do almost anything athletic besides basketball? It's comical. Have you watched NBA players fight? a bunch of uncoordinated slapping. Or try to throw a baseball? Carl Lewis thinks they look silly. Golfing is an absolute scream.

That's an odd reason to follow the sport.

Who cares about the quality of the athletes, when the rules, structure, and officiating are major detriments to the watchability of the sport.

There's a reason demographics show people grow out of Pro basketball like they grow out of WWE, (every playoffs everyone bitches the games are rigged, the NBA is rigged...It gets old) but enjoy it while you're young. I mean, NASCAR beats the NBA in the Harris Poll for popularity and it seems most people agree NASCAR sucks.

Both sports share a common element, you can go to the bathroom and buy a hotdog and not miss a damn thing...Car still going round and round...You could go to the bathroom, miss 10 baskets and you will not have missed much.

And the NBA is mostly all filler. Today will be hours and hours of filler. Aren't you so excited when the game is 10-10? Can't you wait until it's 97-96 with 2 minutes left to play?

As they used to say for an NBA game, "tune in the last 5 minutes and you've watched the entire game.". You could show up in the 46th minute and it's as if you were there all along... Especially in the playoffs with the infamous "ref controlled, keep it close whistle blowers.". Fouls. Game stops constantly and everything appears to be a foul now.

But best athletes, eh?
