Was there any significance to Steven stabbing her in the leg with a pencil? I found it interesting that she abandoned her no touching policy to hug him. But it can't be a random act of anger that he stabbed her right?

I think a few of the most obvious things to me that she isn't a fraud (not necessarily that her whole story is true)

1. Talking to the dog ??
2. Having the premonition
3. All of a sudden her not being blind

I think that she said she couldn't feel pain...

But she obviously dealt with the pain after, privately, removing the tip.
