I'm with you bamafan. I go out of my way to hit up goodwills and flea markets/pawn shops/ebay auctions to get donations and buy really cheap "broken" systems for repair. Most of them are dirty and just need a good clean.. Or, in the case of the nes, just a replacement 72 pin connector (easy fix, costs 4 bucks). I then donate them to my friend's kids or go on the local swap shops and do giveaways.

I'm kind of a diehard in the collectors scene/hobby, so i already have pristine systems hooked up to my crt. Helping to spread holiday cheer and the gift of the old school gaming is a passion of mine. Seeing the scalpers and resalers who either purchase the whole stock outright and flip a profit on families just getting the hot item for their kids makes me sad.

But yeah. Come febuary, anyone sitting on a stock of these will have to return them. It really doesn't effect them at all. It's a failsafe way to quadruple your investment.
