I'm not about to use a thesaurus to write in an informal setting.

If you were referencing the third-to-last paragraph, would you say antepenultimate?

You'll never have to use a thesaurus again for that one. Next time you're about to write "second to last" you'll remember this thread and go with "penultimate".

On antepenultimate, I love it. I'm a huge proponent of using words that aren't words but that totally should be words.

EDIT: holy crap, it's an actual word. Mind blown! Leaving the above paragraph in just to demonstrate that I didn't know it was a word, was advocating for its use even when I didn't think it was a word, and then googled it and figured out it was a word....which only further buttresses the argument for using it liberally.

I would be careful using Indian Wells for any sort of comparison, or future outlook for players. The combination of the ball flight and the bounce are too unique, and make it tough for anyone to adjust.

Yesterday, for example, in matches that didn't feature 2 qualifiers, the qualifiers went 4-1 in ATP, and 4-2 in WTA. The day before, McHale lost to a qualifier 6-1, 6-0, and she made the semis in Acapulco last week. Even Murray has struggled there, and his game should play well virtually anywhere.

For today's matches, I'll be playing underdog qualifier Giraldo for this reason. And I try to avoid WTA betting, but Kontaveit fits this scenario too.
