Angry isn't the only issue. Where once we always agreed on things like finances, raising kids, even what we thought was fun. Now, we always seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum. I'm not standing here saying that I have no faults or am not contributing to the problems , just wondering when do you know it's time. The one thing we both consistently do is put our kids before ourselves, which is why I haven't done something already

This is absolutely, positively incorrect. You do realize that people change over the course of age 21 to 36, don't you? You do realize that people and inter personal dynamics change after the first child, and again after the second, and again after the third, don't you? You don't actually believe that who we are at 21 and childless is who we are at 36 with three kids, right? If so, then op is not necessarily an idiot or a bad husband.
