So Clinton was going to agitate Russia and Trump is going to agitate China. Guess we had to choose one or the other one day.

One of my favorite Norm jokes from Weekend Update:
"American President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin met to discuss the sensitive topic of NATO expansion. President Yeltsin stood firm saying that he must do what is right for Russia, while President Clinton also stood firm saying that he must do what is right for China."

1. Clinton was going to agitate Russia over a war that is already lost. The US has zero options in Syria. Russia is also killing lots of guys we don't like either.
2. China has long been the aggressor. Obama himself shifted massive amounts of forces to the region to counter China although he did it in the tippy toe round about way of appearing to do something without taking the risk of actually doing anything that defines his foreign policy.
