Alabama doesn't need help - that's why it really sucks. they were holding on florida all day and no calls, and many of those were right at the point of attack.
also, there were 2 block in the backs on Alabama's big return which set up the score to go ahead by 3 scores. they weren't called. Danielson saw it, too.
after the game was well in hand the refs did throw a couple of flags, including a block in the back on a return, but it was too late to make any difference. and don't get me wrong - Alabama was going to win that game anyway.
i'm sick of the politically correct B.S. that you are not supposed to criticize officials. we'll never get anything done about it, which is probably the idea of why you are not allowed to say anything without getting attacked. there are certain parties who like being able to control outcomes, and moreso - point spreads.
it's also amazing how many fans are brainwashed to buy the B.S. propaganda that officials are sacrosanct and no one should be allowed to criticize them or work to make the system better. I see it in this post.
it's when penalties are called and the ones that aren't called that really make the difference.
