A few years back thehighroad.org had a member post up the video of the Hughes amendment, being voted on. It was voted down but Rangel still passed it. The NRA being desperate to get the FOPA passed that when Reagan asked about it, the NRA wanted it signed and said they would come back and get it repealed. Needless to say they never did and wind up throwing a segment of gun owners under the bus which would haunt them for years to come.
