Marines have a different mindset and mission statement. I'm not knocking Marines ... but they are not calling jarheads for nothing.

If you just want to throw division sized groups of men and armor at something, then Marines are the best straight leg option the U.S. has. Marine pilots, aviators ... they're good too.
