I was at the chick fil a at a mall in Orlando mall food court last week. I received my order and sat down at the opposite end of the huge food court. About ten minutes later an employees comes up to me and asks if she can refill my drink, from way on the other side of the food court. That type of service is what always makes me return to chick fil a, and the awesome food. The one near my house has the manager walk patrons to and from their cars with an umbrella on rainy days.

Elmwood location has a complete mix and so far it has been run better than any FF that I've been to.

It comes down to hiring competent employees and management willing to actually manage.

Last Xmas, I witnessed a manager at Popeyes being yelled at by an employee and they were literally wrestling for chicken. The manager claimed I had been waiting the longest and the drive through line chick wasn't hearing it. They hip checked each other tying to get the order filled.

I would imagine if an employee spoke or acted that way at Chick Fil A, they would be fired on the spot. But... I also would imagine, they don't hire folks who would act that way.
