What have we learned from this?

Our program is not a top 5 program.

Coaches see how we treat other coaches and support the team. They see the empty stadium after halftime.

Nobody is going to come coach at this school with this level of support right now. This program needs a few Curley Hallman years to weed out the sidewalk fans

we have not been a top 5 program since 2012. miles got no raises since then and we barely scratched the top 25.

LSU is still a great final destination for a top coach. ever bit as good as Texas, Florida, etc. I don't get hung up on terms like "top 5" because I don't think there is such a thing and if there was it is constantly changing. Michigan has regained top status while Notre Dame and USC have lost it.

every top coach has his own situation regarding staying or leaving.
