Hearing horror stories of people camping for a OTD for over 48 hours STRAIGHT scared me away from EQ

The only way I see these MMOs making a comeback is with the introduction of full immersion virtual reality, i.e. Sword Art Online.
Then again, that will essentially be a whole genre in and of itself, I guess.
All these advancements in graphics and gaming are just a stepping stone on the path to the true next renaissance of virtual reality.
