These people are lazy and they expect jobs and things to be given to them. They need to stop complaining and they need to rise above this all. Funny how they lament on others being leeches to the system but they themselves are welfare queens themselves. Is there laziness and joblessness the only hardships that have merit?
While I'm not totally against what you have said , you might want to consider a few things.
1) Louisiana ranks about 42nd in average income
2) Louisiana ranks 19th-20th in terms of cost of living
3) Louisiana is quite byzantine in the way that it funds public education .
4) Louisiana gutted Vo-Tech education in its public schools - not everyone is going to go to college
5) Louisiana politicians have a vested interest in keeping people poor
The first two are a big problem. Basically it takes a big chunk of your income just to keep the roof over our head ...and your employer won't or can't pay you anywhere close. Sales taxes are too high as well as the state "fees" that are like hidden taxes
