Lose weight. Don't smoke. If that don't work, get a dental mouthpiece. The machine will eventually drive you crazy.

I actually agree with this. Had a CPAP for a few months and it drove me crazy. I was unable to get used to it.
Talked with my doctor and she recommended a prescription oral device. Not the crap you can buy on the Internet.

This thing is amazing. I had to go to a dentist who is certified in sleep medicine and go through a bunch of test, then he made a mold of my teeth. 2 weeks later I received the device and have been sleeping great ever since.

I have done 2 sleep studies since receiving the device and my numbers are better than they were from when I had the CPAP.
