Uh, what risks? Orgeron wasn't going anywhere. We literally could've waited till January and still hire Orgeron if nobody else wanted it.

Oh, the risk of public perception??
We've been the laughing stock of college football since the Miles debacle last year. If anything we look even more incompetent now.

Yeah, the real problem was not firing Les last year. Texas wasn't open last year so probably could've gotten Herman. Or anyone else.
