Orgeron is either going to be horrible or spectacular.

I don't see much middle ground with him. He is either going to fail spectacularly or resurrect us back to greatness. I think the latter.

He will not kill the program but we won't be winning any championships. He will get us 9 wins per year average but with the talent we have, any half assed coach should be able to do that.

He will be fired after three years and LSU's program will be in shambles. The job will be even less desirable at that point.

If I never heard "one team, one heartbeat" again that would be just fine. Cheesy as shite.

You know what else? Tomorrow it's either going to rain or it's not going to rain. Because those too are the two possible outcomes...

Baton Rouge isn't getting rain until Monday. It'll still be 78. Still kinda warm, IMO

Many programs get sucked into this trap. They make a bad, emotional hire (i.e. Orgeron, Bill Stewart at WVU, Randy Shannon at Miami). Then that bad hire leads to another because of the destruction caused by the previous coach. The job becomes less and less desirable.

It has happened to programs far greater than LSU. Notre Dame, Miami, Alabama before Saban, USC, Texas.

LSU is now in that trap and it's going to be a long time before it gets out of it. It's a tough pill to swallow, I realize. But there is a reason why Alabama and Florida fans are laughing at you.
