2011? It seems long ago, but LSU has beaten them with time to prepare. People would say the same thing about Miles early in his career "with time to prepare he (Miles) was unbeatable." Teams that play well with time to prepare are those that show consistent improvement/development and team discipline despite time off the field (good coaching).

Bama is beatable with a competent offense (see Ole Miss) and LSU's defense with or without time to prepare. Time to prepare should favor an offense's game plan to install wrinkles and understand how to break tendencies to attack a defense. LSU's offense looks worse than every other team in the SEC against Bama, and doesn't attack their weaknesses (they don't really have weaknesses but are weaker in certain areas).
