So how would you create gravity on Mars without trees? You can't do it, I know a lot of people hate the idea of treeing a planet but it seems unavoidable.

I actually wanted to get a cerebral debate going.
But for real, you can pack way more protists and grow them much easier than trees.
That being said, trees grow towards the light, not matter their starting orientation. So, you don't have to worry about lack of gravity.
