It could very well be absolutely nothing. Women get fibroids all the time that are nothing to worry about. They can literally be caused from a bra wire or even caffeine intake. HOWEVER, I would always recommend going to the doctor to have it checked because of course there is always a chance it could be something else. A friend of mine put off a sore spot on hers for months that ended up being cancer. She's completely fine now, but if she could do it again she wouldn't have waited. Plus, it's quite comforting when the doctor says, "Nope - that's just a fibroid. Nothing to worry about."
