I've never heard an actual French conversation in NO...nothing more than a Cajun French word or 2, or short phrase but not a whole conversation.

Somebody words daily. At doctor's offices, conversations daily. Ville Platte. Both parents speak it. I don't but half arse understand it. It's dying. Kvpi has news in French and show each morning where they speak French. I was shocked when I went to lsu and would use words that I thought were English and folks had no idea what I was talking about
