Uh, I'm right here dude...

And in case you missed it, I agree that Fournette is probably gone (and it's the right call). However - we've been surprised in the past (La'el Collins and Kelvin Sheppard come to mind).

Maybe leaving is the obvious and best choice, but what if he doesn't go that path?

Look at it this way: LF7 is the first player that I can remember was always assumed to be 3 and out. Our recruiting plans assumed this, and most likely our long-range offensive planning did too - wait -

HAHAHAHAHAHA - Offensive long-range planning under Miles. I can't believe I actually said that.

(Sorry - I had to get that out before I snorted diet coke out of my nose. Moving on...)

In any case, with most other players you can at least entertain the notion of having them play for four years, and account for that possibility when making your recruiting plans.

In this case, though, NOBODY thought (or thinks) that LF7 would come back for his senior season. But what if he did? Heck yeah, we get the freight train back for another year. All sunshine and rainbows there, no doubt.

But if he comes back might there also be unintended (and not necessarily positive) impacts other places? For instance, Cam Akers?

So, remote as the chance might be, if he were to stay I'm looking for thoughts the impact on the team , not on him personally.

Collins and Sheppard had cases for improving their draft stock. Explain how LF has any case for improving his draft stock.
