Sorry if it wasn't clear, but I agree with you. If Miles went 34-6 those years, it is very likely Saban would have won 2 national championships in that stretch (equivalent to his 2011 and 2012 at Alabama). At that point, yes the dynasty would have been in full gear. This is why LSU fans hate Alabama a little bit more. Hard luck we just got the GOAT before he had scratched his NFL itch.

I agree! Even though, one poster mentioned that Alabama coveted 6 - #1 recruiting classes and they have superior talent...one has to think that Nick Saban being a household name is the reason for those #1 recruiting classes and you have to be able to develop the talent as well.
What gets me is LSU and Louisiana as a state puts more NFL talent than any other University/State, but yet we seem to lack Championships.
