Yeah, that was completely unacceptable. The fact he felt the need to tell Paterno and not the police just tells me he was part of the protectionist mindset too.

Yep. I have no sympathy for what happened to him. Had he simply gone to the police instead of sitting on what he saw for a day and then going to Paterno, none of the bad things that befell his life in 2011-12 ever happen.
