Not really. Michigan has been shite for over a decade and was desperate. If they missed on him they would have been a has-been. Now they are #2 in the country and they are as relevant as they have been in my lifetime.

tbh.. I'm kind of interested to see if Michigan ends up with 2-3 losses. They haven't really played anyone but Wisconsin yet and they only scored 14 against the badgers.

Yeah but are they really the second best team in the country? I think it's more to do with the brand.
