I think you missed the point. If Alleva said he would give him fair consideration, what more could he want to see? He knew O's resume when he made him the interim HC.

Unless he was lying about the fair shot?? What is Aleva's track record on hiring coaches both here and Duke? I am not impressed so far with who he has hired here, but don't know about Duke. In his defense both Trent and Nikki looked really good at first, just haven't panned out. Jones was a case of caving to the old guard. If the BOS gets involved in this God help us.
