If you would stop trying to be such a jackass for just minute, and actually think about what I wrote...I wouldn't have to explain.

I said it was the right call, but it was still questionable enough to where they had to review it and slow it down to see what part touched the ground before the ball came out. In real time, you can't see that. And so what if he was closer and paid part time to officiate a game? You could be five feet away and a paid ref and you can't see that kind of detail in the heat of the action in real time. How many times do we see refs letting the play happen on a close call like that and making the call on the field be a fumble/td, only to reverse it after further review? All the time.

Not this ref. He was going to make damn sure the default call on the field was that the runner was down before the ball came out. It's easy to sit back and say, "oh yeah that was obvious, you're stupid". No it wasn't. It's real easy to say that with the luxury of hindsight, slow motion, and zooming in.

Refs really can't catch a break around here. Whether the get the call right or not, they're screwing LSU. it's a conspiracy I tell you.

How do you definitively know which ref actually made the call and whether or not he had a clear view of the knee being down?
