Anybody ever used these? How is the battery life and powerful do they compare to a gas model?
I'm looking at either the 20v Worxair, 32v Worxair, or the 56v turbine.

Not the same brand, but I have a Ryobi. Just switched to a gas Echo because the battery powered one wasn't good for much more than getting a few stray leaves off the porch.

I've had a 20v worx turbine blower for over a year. So far so good. I was presently surprised with the power. It's not outrageous but more than I thought it would be.

Dewalt makes some cordless blowers that take the same batteries as their 20v tools. Might be a good option if you use those.

I just watched a YouTube video review of the 56v turbine Worx and it was only able to go full blast for 8 1/2 minutes... Wow... Couldn't believe it... Are these things really this bad on battery life? I can go 30+ minutes on my old Stihl gas blower without refilling.

You're not exactly comparing Apple's to oranges.
8 1/2 minutes is probably plenty for most homeowners. If you have 2 batteries, you should be able to do a lot.
