OK.... Who was better??? Staubach or Bradshaw?????

1971-1974: Staubach
1975-1979: Bradshaw

As for this Marino shite, I ain't arguing that Marino doesn't throw a better football and had better accuracy. But when Marino had a shot in January, he didn't do shite. And it wasn't his defense's fault a lot of the time.

THE FOUR MOST IMPORTANT GAMES OF MARINO'S CAREER

1983 DIVISIONAL (home vs. Seattle): 15-25-193-2-2
1984 SUPER BOWL (vs. San Francisco): 29-50-318-1-2
1985 AFCCG (home vs. New England): 20-48-248-2-2
1990 AFCCG (home vs. Buffalo): 22-45-268-1-2
OVERALL (with 3 home games): 86-168-1027-6-8

THE FOUR MOST IMPORTANT GAMES OF ELI MANNING'S CAREER

2007 NFCCG (at Green Bay): 21-40-251-0-0
2007 SUPER BOWL (vs. New England): 19-34-255-2-1
2011 NFCCG (at San Francisco): 32-58-316-2-0
2011 SUPER BOWL (vs. New England): 30-40-296-1-0
OVERALL (with 0 home games): 102-172-1118-5-1

Marino's so FREAKING great, but in January he's barely completing half his passes and throwing more INTs than TDs, when he's a career 60 percent passer with around 170 more TDs than INTs. Meanwhile, in January and Feburary, Eli suddenly starts putting up Marino regular season stats? And that doesn't matter? You can have all Marino's 440 yard/5 TD games against some doormat Colts team and it adds up to zero in elimination games.

Did I say Eli is a better overall QB than Marino? No
Did I say Eli is a better QB than Marino when it counts? ABSOLUTELY. And I'm not backing down from that.
