My job can take me 10 mins to get to work or an hour and 10 mins depending on traffic. I leave 45 mins early to accomplish getting their either 30 mins early and I start working, 15 mins early, on time, or late.

At this one job I was at, I'm pretty sure I'm a legend there about getting in to work right at 7:00am. 
Some of the guys would get there 30 mins early, some 5 mins but I would get there right at 7 or 6:59. They all knew when I got there, it was time to work.
frick that coming in early bullshite. Also at my current job, we were usually about 5-10 mins late everyday. When the boss don't give a frick.

I show up at 6 or shortly after and start working. I do it mainly to beat traffic between LP and BR.
