GeauxTigerTM: Like you, I'm a uniform nerd. Loved your post. I also am bugged by the pants stripes not matching the helmet. Never understood why that doesn't get fixed.

Two other big beefs I have with the current uniform:

1. Badly mismatched shades of purple between jersey and helmet. Not even close.

Notice it was a perfect match in the Hodson photo, but not anymore.

2. The current shoulder stripes look more like suspenders and are too much on top of the shoulder. Again, the Hodson pick shows the shoulder stripes more on the sleeve. Yes, I realize this is partially caused by the new jersey designs, which basically have no sleeves at all, but still.

Plus, the shoulder stripes seem thicker than in the Hodson photo.

Does anyone in the athletic department pay any attention at all to these details? Serious question.
