Two Audio Receivers

How can I have my two audio receivers playing the same thing? Yamaha RX-V781BL and Insignia (not sure of exact model) receivers with the Yamaha being the main.
FYI I have tried to use the pre-amp on the Yamaha, but it will not work if that particular pre-amp is already used by speakers. Even tried HDMI out (I have two HDMI outs on the Yamaha) but no sound comes through this route because it goes to the 2nd zone speakers (which is what I want).
Screw Foley.

You should be able to run some RCA cables from one to the other. Or coaxial or optical.

I don't see any audio out for RCA or optical. I thought it would be pretty simple, but it's proving to be difficult.
The only outputs are for the pre-amp or a monitor out.

Split the source cable via a "Y" splitter and run into each receivers input.

Would this cause any audio or video degradation?
Edit: Nvm, thanks!
