Finally read some info on this,

First question, maybe someone has already answered, but the stadium is said to be projected to cost $1.9 Billion, Mark Davis is kicking in $500 Million, Nevada has approved $750 Million for the project.

That still leaves almost $700 Million left to cover. Where is this money going to come from? Certainly not the NFL. I'm guessing taxpayers will have to cover the rest and the cost-overruns that will surely happen.

So the public will cough up somewhere close to a Billion extra dollars to get this stadium done.

I thought it was From Sheldon Adelson or is he only covering overages?

Sheldon Adelson is paying for the rest and any overruns. 14th richest man in US at 34 billion.

You're also forgetting that around a few hundred million is going to renovate the convention center.
