I'd be a bit more sympathetic if we didn't have the same fricking issue come up last year!! How do you not have some sort of contengecy plan? Was the "plan" just to hope the displaced school do what USC did?

I don't blame UF. They were trying to protect their interest. This is 100% the fault of the SEC commissioner. They had several days to avoid canceling the game and did NOTHING proactive to make sure that didn't happen. It was clear to anyone with a brain that UF wanted this game either played there or not at all. The commish has to step in and be the arbitrator.

I don't often go to this extreme, but Sankey should be fired immediately. Yes, this was an unexpected Act of God, but the SEC had DAYS to come up with an alternative option and recent precedent to serve as a guide on how to respond. Complete ineptitude at the top.
