I haven't installed it anywhere yet. I stuck the outside antenna in the brace of the satellite dish on the roof of the truck camper (it has a hatch above the cabover bed so easy access) and placed the indoor antenna 2 feet from the dining room table so it was far from the outdoor antenna. But the ideal distance from where I could leave my phone, charging and turn on the hotspot.
I put the booster in a cabinet that has a 12v outlet.
You have to keep the antennas as far away as possible from each other or else they interfere w one another (6ft + is ideal). "oscillation" it's called.
I probably won't do a permanent install. Need to figure out how to rig it on my cars/trucks for easy removal.
I'm driving up to mtns for that test next week.
