The prospects for the backend are pretty good IMO

I would keep pumping picks into the front 7 until you hit on a the biggest need- a PLAYMAKER. Jordan reminds me of Will Smith in quality. For me, very good, VERY! But not a highly disruptive player who the offense has to account for every play.

I like Kruger and expect to see more out of him. Elevated play from him could free up Jordan to progress to even another level. But he is 30. That's not building block for a new D age.

It's becoming a broken record but my concerns about the coaching have only grown the past few years. Forcing position coaches on coordinators isn't the ideal formula IMO. Ninkovich wasn't a scheme fit at the time (why draft him then?), left and has performed well. Harper not All Pro but did man up for another SB team. Jenkins made All Pro after departure.

My prescription would be some staff shakeup and relentlessly draft front 7 playmakers until you hit it right.

Agree with all of that Blu.

Except kruger. I watch him and he stands straight up and thats about it. Hope he pans out no doubt.
