Sharing some other people's Palmer stories:

The following year my wife was sick and couldn't make the tournament but my son and I were there, Arnie saw us on the driving range and asked where was my wife? After explaining that she was ill, he wished her the best and signed our program with a special greeting for her. That was Arnie, a really good person and a generous human being.
